The occasional opportunity to join a drawing class is always seized and my inclination is to work in colour or charcoal. Watercolour is is not a medium I use very often, but one I like using for life studies.

Painted extremely fast in a life class as the model moved through

repeated positions held for only a few minutes.

Pastels

This was the outcome of many smaller studies done towards course work 1998.

The deep grey of the pastel paper was left exposed as the mid areas of shadow.

Now hanging on our stairway.
